Managed IT for Los Angeles & Orange County businessesWoodland Hills office, 24/7 help desk, nationwide remote support

About Corewell Technology

A managed IT company built the way we always wished one existed.

Corewell Technology was founded in Woodland Hills to give Los Angeles and Orange County businesses what large enterprises take for granted: an IT department that is proactive, secure by default, honest about cost, and staffed by engineers who answer the phone.

Who we are

Corewell Technology is a managed IT services provider and cybersecurity firm serving businesses of 10 to 500 employees across Los Angeles County and Orange County from our office at 21031 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills. We become the IT department for companies that do not have one, and we extend the departments of companies that do.

Our team is made up of engineers, not account managers with a script. The people who design a client's network are the people who answer when it has a problem, and the people who run the security operations center are the people who call when something is blocked. We keep tiers one through three on the same floor so that escalation is a conversation, and we keep our documentation current so that every engineer who picks up a ticket already knows the environment.

How we work

Every engagement begins with a free assessment that produces a written inventory, a security score, and a costed plan. Pricing is a flat fee per user per month that covers unlimited support, monitoring, the full security stack, backups, and strategy; projects are quoted at a fixed price before they begin. Response times are written into the agreement and reported every month. A named virtual CIO owns each client's roadmap and meets with leadership every quarter.

We are local on purpose. Technicians drive to client offices from Woodland Hills across the San Fernando Valley, the Westside, Downtown, the South Bay, the San Gabriel Valley, and Orange County, and we know the buildings, the internet carriers, and the local requirements that shape a technology plan. Remote support covers employees anywhere in the United States.

What we believe

Security is not an upgrade. Backups that have not been restored do not exist. A help desk should be measured by whether the problem stays solved. The bill should never be a surprise. And technology decisions deserve a plan, made ahead of time, with the people who run the business in the room.

Why Corewell

Local engineers, written promises, no surprises.

Local, in Los Angeles, on purpose

Our engineers work from Woodland Hills and drive to your office. When hardware fails in Burbank or a network goes down in Torrance, a technician who already knows the building is on the way, and the person who answers the phone has met your staff.

Written response times, reported monthly

Critical issues are answered within 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Every priority has a target in your agreement, every ticket is measured against it, and you see the numbers every month without asking.

Security is included, never an upsell

Endpoint detection and response, 24/7 monitoring, email and identity protection, backups, and awareness training are in every managed plan, because a managed service that leaves security optional is not managing anything.

One flat fee, no hourly surprises

Support is unlimited and priced per user per month. Projects are quoted as a fixed price before they begin. You will never receive an invoice you did not expect, and our incentive is for nothing to go wrong.

Our own engineers, tiers one through three

The help desk is staffed by Corewell employees, not an outsourced call center. Escalation is a conversation across the room, and the engineer who designed your network is the one who fixes it.

A plan, not just tickets

A named virtual CIO owns your roadmap, budget, and risk register and meets with your leadership every quarter, so technology decisions are made ahead of time and on purpose.

How it works

From first call to steady state in 30 days.

  1. 01

    Free assessment

We inventory your devices, accounts, and applications, score your security against the CIS Controls, review backups and spending, and present the findings in plain language with a costed plan. No obligation.

  2. 02

    Proposal and agreement

You receive a flat per-user price for the environment we assessed, with the scope, the security stack, and the response times written down. Projects are quoted separately and in advance.

  3. 03

    Onboarding, days 1 to 30

Our agents and security tools are deployed, documentation is built, patching is brought current, MFA is enabled, backups are verified, and we meet every employee. The help desk is live from day one.

  4. 04

    Stabilization, days 31 to 90

Recurring problems are investigated for root causes, quick wins from the assessment are completed, and your vCIO delivers the first roadmap and risk register to leadership.

  5. 05

    Steady state

Monitoring, support, security operations, and reporting run every day. You receive a monthly report and a quarterly business review, and the roadmap is executed project by project.

  6. 06

    Growth and change

New hires, new offices, acquisitions, compliance requirements, and new software are planned with your vCIO and delivered by the same team, so the environment grows without starting over.

Questions

Common questions

What does Corewell Technology do?

Corewell Technology is a managed IT services provider in Los Angeles. We become, or extend, the IT department for businesses of 10 to 500 employees: 24/7 help desk, monitoring and patching, cybersecurity and compliance, cloud and Microsoft 365, backup and disaster recovery, networks and phone systems, IT projects, and a virtual CIO who plans the road ahead, all for a flat monthly fee.

Where does Corewell provide service?

Our office is in Woodland Hills, and our engineers serve businesses across Los Angeles County: the San Fernando, Conejo, San Gabriel, and Santa Clarita valleys, the Westside and beach cities, Downtown and Central Los Angeles, the South Bay, and Long Beach. Remote support covers employees anywhere in the United States.

How much do managed IT services cost in Los Angeles?

Most Los Angeles businesses pay between $125 and $250 per user per month for fully managed IT that includes support, monitoring, security, and backups, with the figure set by headcount, the number of locations, and compliance requirements. Corewell quotes a flat per-user price after a free assessment, and projects are quoted separately at a fixed price. Our IT cost estimator gives a budgeting range in a minute.

What is the difference between managed and co-managed IT?

With fully managed IT, Corewell is your IT department. With co-managed IT, your internal IT staff keep the work they do best and hand us the rest, such as after-hours coverage, security operations, patching, or projects, sharing one ticket queue and one set of tools. Many companies move between the two as they grow.

What are your response times?

Critical issues affecting the business are answered within 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Issues affecting a single user are answered within one business hour, and most are resolved on the first contact. The targets are written into your agreement and reported to you every month.

Is support really unlimited?

Yes. Managed clients receive unlimited remote and on-site support for the covered environment with no per-ticket or hourly charges. Planned projects with a defined scope, such as an office move, are quoted separately and in advance so support never carries a surprise.

Is cybersecurity included or extra?

Included. Every managed plan comes with endpoint detection and response, 24/7 security monitoring, email and identity protection, multi-factor authentication, DNS filtering, backups, and security awareness training. Advanced compliance programs such as CMMC or SOC 2 readiness are scoped as additions.

Can you help with HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, or PCI compliance?

Yes. We perform gap assessments, write policies, implement and monitor the technical controls, collect evidence continuously, and support you through audits, assessments, and customer security questionnaires for HIPAA, CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and the CCPA.
