Managed IT for Los Angeles & Orange County businessesWoodland Hills office, 24/7 help desk, nationwide remote support

Co-Managed IT Services

Give your IT team a bench.

Co-managed IT pairs your in-house IT staff with Corewell Technology. Your team keeps the work it does best and hands us the rest: overnight and weekend coverage, tier-one tickets, security monitoring, patching, projects, or specialized engineering. We share one ticket queue, one documentation system, and one set of dashboards, so nothing falls between two organizations.

  • Shared ticketing, documentation, and dashboards
  • 24/7 coverage without hiring a night shift
  • Enterprise tools at managed-service pricing
  • Engineers on demand for projects and escalations

What co-managed IT is

Co-managed IT is a division of labor between your IT department and ours, written down. You might keep desktop support and application ownership while we run the help desk after hours, the security operations center, the patching and backup platforms, and the quarterly roadmap. Another company might keep strategy and vendor relationships in-house and hand us all day-to-day support. Corewell builds the arrangement around your people rather than asking them to fit a package.

Why in-house teams choose it

A three-person IT department cannot staff nights and weekends, cannot afford a security operations center, and cannot take a vacation without a backlog. Co-managed service gives that team the coverage and tools of a much larger organization at a fraction of the cost of hiring, and it gives leadership continuity if a key employee leaves. Your staff spend their time on the work that moves the business, and they have senior engineers to call when a problem is outside their experience.

How Corewell structures it

We start by mapping every responsibility in your environment and assigning each one to your team or ours, with escalation paths in both directions. Your staff get accounts in our ticketing, documentation, remote management, and security platforms, so both teams see the same information. We agree on response targets, meet weekly during the first quarter and monthly afterward, and adjust the split as your needs change. Your IT staff report to you; we report to you and to them.

What your IT staff experience

A dedicated Corewell engineer who knows your environment and takes their calls. Tier-one noise handled before it reaches them. Patching, backup checks, and security alerts handled by platforms they can see into. Project help for migrations and rollouts without a consulting firm. And documentation that is finally complete, because two teams are keeping it.

Questions

Common questions

Will Corewell try to replace our IT staff?

No. Co-managed agreements are built to make your internal team more effective, and our scope is defined so that it supplements rather than duplicates their work. Many of our co-managed clients have grown their internal teams while working with us.

Can we use our existing tools?

In many cases, yes. Where your tools meet the need, our engineers work inside them. Where they do not, we provide ours at no additional license cost, and your team gets full access.

How is co-managed IT priced?

By the scope your team hands to us, usually expressed per user or per device per month for ongoing coverage, with projects quoted separately. It is typically a fraction of the cost of the equivalent headcount.
