Network Design & Management

The network nobody has to think about.

Everything in your business runs over the network, and most networks were assembled one emergency at a time. Corewell Technology designs and manages the whole stack for Los Angeles offices, warehouses, clinics, and studios: business-grade firewalls, managed switching, enterprise wireless with coverage that is measured rather than guessed, redundant internet circuits, SD-WAN between locations, and cabling that is labeled and documented.

  • Managed firewalls with monitored security policies
  • Wi-Fi designed with site surveys, not guesswork
  • Redundant internet and SD-WAN for multiple sites
  • Every port, cable, and device documented

What network management covers

Next-generation firewalls with intrusion prevention, content filtering, and VPN, with rules reviewed and firmware kept current. Managed switches with segmentation that keeps guest devices, cameras, printers, and payment systems away from company data. Enterprise wireless designed from a predictive and on-site survey, with guest access and device onboarding. Internet circuits sourced competitively, with a second connection and automatic failover for businesses that cannot be offline. SD-WAN connecting multiple locations securely. Structured cabling, racks, and network closets installed and labeled to standard. And 24/7 monitoring of all of it.

Why design matters more than hardware

The most expensive access point in a bad location produces bad Wi-Fi. A firewall with last year's rules protects against last year's threats. Flat networks let one infected laptop reach every server. Good networking is mostly design and discipline: knowing where coverage is needed and measuring it, segmenting by trust, documenting every connection, and monitoring so problems are seen before users feel them. Corewell brings that discipline to environments that have never had it.

How Corewell builds and runs it

A new or renovated space begins with a design: floor plans, user counts, device types, and a wireless survey that predicts coverage, then validates it after installation. We source circuits from every carrier serving the address and manage the installation and the carrier. Equipment is configured to a documented standard, labeled, and photographed. Once live, firewalls, switches, access points, and circuits report into our monitoring, and configuration backups are taken automatically. Changes go through tickets, so the documentation stays true.

Multi-site and growing businesses

A business with offices in Woodland Hills, Downtown, and Irvine needs its locations to behave like one network. SD-WAN connects sites over ordinary internet circuits with encryption and automatic failover, cloud-managed equipment lets us bring a new location online from a template, and centralized policy means a change is made once. When you open a new office, the network is designed, ordered, installed, and tested before the furniture arrives.

Questions

Common questions

Can you fix our Wi-Fi without replacing everything?

Often. A survey frequently shows that access points are mislocated, channels overlap, or a single misconfiguration is causing drops. We fix what can be fixed and replace only what must be replaced, with the survey as evidence either way.

Do you sell internet service?

We source and manage it. We quote circuits from every carrier available at your address, including fiber where it exists, order and project-manage the installation, and open tickets with the carrier when something goes wrong, so you never call them yourself.

Do you handle low-voltage cabling?

Yes. Our team and licensed low-voltage partners install data cabling, fiber, racks, and network closets for new construction, tenant improvements, and office moves across Los Angeles County.
