Business Phone Systems & VoIP

A phone system that lives in the cloud and works everywhere.

The phone system is part of your IT, and it works best when the people who run your network also run your phones. Corewell Technology designs and manages cloud phone systems for Los Angeles businesses, whether you want desk phones, softphones on laptops and mobiles, or calling inside Microsoft Teams, with auto attendants, queues, voicemail to email, business texting, call recording, and the Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act compliance the law now requires.

  • Cloud PBX or Microsoft Teams Phone
  • Desk phones, softphones, and mobile apps
  • Auto attendants, queues, recording, and texting
  • Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act compliant

What the phone service includes

A cloud phone platform or Microsoft Teams Phone, with your numbers ported and your call flows rebuilt: auto attendants, ring groups, call queues with reporting, after-hours routing, holiday schedules, voicemail transcribed to email, and business text messaging from your main number. Desk phones for people who want them and apps for everyone else, so a call to the office rings a laptop in Santa Monica. Call recording and compliance retention where needed. Integration with Microsoft 365 or your CRM. And e911 configured so emergency calls carry the caller's location and notify the front desk as federal law requires.

Why move the phones to the cloud

An on-premises PBX is a server that only one vendor understands, tied to copper lines that carriers are retiring. Cloud calling removes the hardware, cuts the monthly line cost, follows employees wherever they work, and adds features that used to require a call center. Having Corewell run it alongside your network means voice quality is engineered rather than hoped for, and a phone problem is one ticket to one team.

How Corewell deploys it

We document your current numbers, extensions, and call flows and design the new system with your office manager. Network readiness is verified, because voice quality depends on it. Phones and apps are configured before cutover day, numbers are ported on a scheduled date with the old system kept warm as a fallback, and we are on site when the new system goes live. Afterward, changes to users, menus, and schedules are ordinary help desk requests.

What callers and staff experience

Customers reach a clear menu, the right person, and a voicemail that gets answered, whether the employee is at a desk or at home. Staff see who is calling, transfer with a click, text customers from the business number, and take the office line with them on a mobile app. Reports show call volume, wait times, and missed calls so management can staff accordingly.

Questions

Common questions

Can we keep our phone numbers?

Yes. All your numbers, including toll-free and fax, port to the new system. Porting is scheduled, and the old service stays active until the port completes.

Should we use Microsoft Teams for calling?

If your staff already live in Teams, Teams Phone removes a separate application and works well for most offices. Businesses with call centers, heavy desk-phone use, or complex routing sometimes do better on a dedicated cloud PBX. We recommend after reviewing how your calls actually flow.

What does cloud calling cost?

Typically a flat per-user monthly fee that includes unlimited domestic calling and the features above, usually below what the old lines and PBX maintenance cost together. We quote after reviewing your current bills.
