IT Projects, Migrations & Office Moves

Projects delivered on the date we gave you.

The work that falls outside daily support is where businesses get hurt: a move that leaves the office without internet, a server replacement that runs into the weekend, an acquisition whose systems never quite merge. Corewell Technology runs IT projects for Los Angeles businesses with a defined scope, a fixed price, a named project manager, and a schedule built backward from the day that matters.

  • Office moves with internet live on day one
  • Server, email, and cloud migrations without lost data
  • Mergers and acquisitions integrated on a plan
  • Fixed-price quotes with a written scope

Projects we deliver

Office relocations and new build-outs, from the cabling and network closet to the day everyone sits down and works. Server replacements, virtualization, and migrations to the cloud. Email and file migrations between platforms. Line-of-business software upgrades and replacements, coordinated with the vendor. Merger and acquisition integration: merging domains, tenants, networks, and security into one environment. Hardware refreshes for a hundred workstations over a weekend. Security hardening projects. And the assessments and designs that come before any of them.

Why projects need a different discipline than support

Support is reactive and continuous; projects have a scope, a budget, and a date. Treating a server migration as a series of support tickets is how it takes four months. Corewell staffs projects with engineers who are not also answering the help desk, manages them with a written plan and weekly status, and prices them as a fixed amount so a difficult day costs us rather than you. Risk is managed with rehearsals and rollback plans, and the date is protected by starting early.

How an office move runs

Ninety days out we survey the new space with your architect or landlord, design the network and cabling, and order internet circuits, which have the longest lead time in any move. Sixty days out cabling is installed and the network closet is built. Thirty days out circuits are tested, equipment is staged and configured, and the phone system is prepared. On move weekend our team disconnects, transports or replaces, reconnects, and tests every workstation, printer, and phone. Monday morning an engineer is on site, and the old office is decommissioned on a schedule.

Questions

Common questions

How far ahead should we plan an office move?

Ninety days is comfortable; internet circuits alone can take 45 to 90 days to install at a new address in Los Angeles. We have delivered moves on shorter notice using temporary connectivity, but earlier planning costs less and risks less.

Do you work with our landlord, architect, and contractors?

Yes. We attend construction meetings, mark up plans for data and power, coordinate with electricians and low-voltage contractors, and manage the carrier installation so your general contractor has one technology contact.

Are projects priced hourly?

No. After a scoping conversation we quote a fixed price for the defined work. If the scope changes, the change is priced before it is done. You will not receive a surprise invoice.
