Microsoft 365 Services
Microsoft 365, configured like it matters.
Nearly every Los Angeles business pays for Microsoft 365, and most use a fraction of it while leaving the security settings at defaults. Corewell Technology licenses it correctly, migrates you onto it cleanly, hardens identity and email, structures Teams and SharePoint so people can find things, manages devices with Intune, prepares you for Copilot, and administers all of it as part of your managed service.
- Right-sized licensing, often at lower total cost
- Email and file migrations with no lost mail
- Security hardened to Microsoft and CIS baselines
- Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Copilot done properly
What we do with Microsoft 365
Licensing analysis that matches each employee to the right plan and removes what is unused. Migrations from on-premises Exchange, Google Workspace, GoDaddy, or another tenant, with mail, calendars, contacts, and files moved and verified. Identity hardening in Entra ID with multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and privileged account protection. Exchange Online protection against phishing and spoofing, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Teams and SharePoint architecture with sensible permissions and retention. Intune enrollment for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. Copilot readiness, including the data-governance work that must come first. And ongoing administration of users, licenses, and settings.
Why configuration is the whole point
Two companies can pay for the same Microsoft 365 plan and have entirely different security postures and productivity. Out of the box, legacy authentication is often enabled, external sharing is wide open, no one owns the SharePoint structure, and the audit log has never been read. Properly configured, the same subscription provides identity, device management, data protection, and collaboration that would have cost a large company millions a decade ago. The difference is the engineer who sets it up and the team that keeps it that way.
How Corewell approaches a tenant
We assess the tenant against Microsoft Secure Score and the CIS Microsoft 365 benchmark and present the findings in plain language. We remediate in a planned order: identity first, then email protection, then data and sharing, then devices. Migrations are scheduled around your business, run in stages with coexistence so nothing stops, and verified mailbox by mailbox. Teams and SharePoint are designed with your department heads so the structure reflects how work happens. Then the tenant joins our monitoring, and configuration drift is corrected as it appears.
Preparing for Copilot and AI
Copilot for Microsoft 365 answers questions using every file a user can access, which means a tenant with sloppy permissions exposes payroll spreadsheets and HR files to anyone who asks. Before Copilot is enabled we audit and correct sharing, apply sensitivity labels to confidential data, and set retention and data-loss-prevention policies. Then we pilot with a small group, measure, and roll out with training. The same work improves security whether or not you adopt Copilot.

Questions
Common questions
Can you lower our Microsoft 365 bill?
Usually. Most tenants carry licenses for departed employees, premium plans assigned to people who need basic ones, and add-ons duplicated by other subscriptions. The savings often offset part of the managed service fee.
Will we lose email during a migration?
No. Migrations run in stages with mail flowing throughout, and every mailbox is verified before the final cutover, which is scheduled for an evening or weekend. Users arrive Monday morning to the same mail in a new place.
Do you support Google Workspace too?
Yes. We manage and secure Google Workspace for clients who prefer it, and we migrate in either direction. The same identity, device, and data-protection principles apply.
