Hardware, Software & Lifecycle Management

Standard equipment, delivered ready, replaced on schedule.

Buying technology piecemeal produces a fleet of mismatched machines, expired warranties, and licenses no one can find. Corewell Technology sets equipment standards for your business, sources hardware and software at partner pricing, delivers devices configured and enrolled, tracks warranties and ages, plans replacements in your budget, and wipes and recycles retired equipment with a certificate.

  • Partner pricing from Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, and Microsoft
  • Devices arrive imaged, enrolled, and ready to use
  • Warranties, ages, and licenses tracked in one inventory
  • Secure data destruction and e-waste recycling

What procurement and lifecycle management includes

Equipment standards for each role in your company: the laptop for sales, the workstation for design, the server specification for your applications. Quotes from authorized distribution at partner pricing, with the business justification written in plain language. Software licensing for Microsoft, Adobe, and line-of-business vendors, tracked and renewed on time. Configuration and enrollment before delivery, so a new employee opens a box and works. An asset inventory with purchase date, warranty, assigned user, and condition. A replacement schedule built into your annual budget. And secure retirement: data destroyed, certificate issued, equipment recycled responsibly.

Why standards save money

A standardized fleet means spare parts and spare machines that fit, images that deploy in minutes, support engineers who know the hardware, and volume pricing. It also means equipment is replaced at four or five years on a plan rather than at six years in a crisis, which is cheaper in both hardware and lost time. Budgeting becomes predictable: you know how many machines retire next year and what they cost.

How Corewell manages it

Standards are set with you at onboarding and reviewed annually. Requests arrive through the help desk, are quoted within a business day, and once approved are ordered, received at our Woodland Hills office, imaged, enrolled, labeled, and delivered or shipped. The inventory updates automatically from our management tools and is reconciled quarterly. Ninety days before a warranty expires or a device reaches end of life, it appears on the quarterly review for a replacement decision.

Software and subscriptions

Licenses are among the most common sources of waste and risk: paying for departed users, running unlicensed copies, or missing a renewal that takes down a critical application. We maintain the license inventory alongside the hardware, assign and reclaim licenses as people join and leave, consolidate duplicate subscriptions, and manage renewals so nothing lapses.

Questions

Common questions

Do we have to buy hardware through Corewell?

No, although most clients do because the pricing is competitive and the equipment arrives ready. If you buy elsewhere, we still configure, enroll, and track it.

How long should a business laptop last?

Four years is a reasonable planning figure for a quality business-class laptop, five for desktops, and five to six for servers. Beyond that, failure rates and lost productivity cost more than replacement.

What happens to old computers?

Drives are wiped to NIST 800-88 standards or physically destroyed, a certificate of destruction is issued for your records, and the equipment is recycled through a certified e-waste processor or donated where appropriate.
