Managed IT for Los Angeles & Orange County businessesWoodland Hills office, 24/7 help desk, nationwide remote support

Remote & Hybrid Workforce IT

The office is wherever your people are.

Los Angeles companies now run from offices, home offices, client sites, and the road, often in the same day. Corewell Technology builds the environment that makes that safe: managed laptops that ship configured, identity and multi-factor authentication on every login, zero-trust or VPN access to company resources, Microsoft Teams or Google Workspace done properly, and a help desk that supports a person in Pasadena the same way it supports one in the office.

  • Laptops shipped pre-configured to new hires
  • Zero-trust access instead of a flat VPN
  • Identity, MFA, and conditional access everywhere
  • Same help desk at home, in the office, or on the road

What hybrid-work IT includes

Device management that enrolls a laptop the moment it is powered on, applies your security policies, installs your applications, and lets us wipe it if it is lost. Identity built on Microsoft Entra or Google, with multi-factor authentication and conditional access that blocks sign-ins from places your employees are not. Secure access to files and applications through zero-trust gateways or managed VPN. Collaboration tooling configured for how your teams actually work. And support that reaches a remote employee by phone, chat, and remote control at any hour.

Why it matters

The majority of breaches now begin with a compromised identity or an unmanaged device, and remote work multiplies both. A properly managed hybrid environment is more secure than most offices were five years ago, because every device is known, every login is verified, and nothing depends on being inside a building. It is also better for hiring: a new employee anywhere in California receives a configured laptop and is working on day one.

How Corewell builds it

We inventory how your people work and where your data lives, then design identity, device, and access controls that fit. Laptops are enrolled in Intune or a comparable platform and shipped from our Woodland Hills office with your image applied. Access to on-premises servers and cloud applications is brokered through zero-trust tools where possible, VPN where necessary. Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, or Google Drive are structured so files are shared on purpose rather than by accident. Then the whole arrangement is monitored and supported like any other part of your environment.

What employees experience

A laptop that arrives ready. A single sign-on for everything, with a phone prompt instead of a second password. Files and applications that work the same at home as at a desk. Video meetings that start on time. And an engineer one click away who can see the screen and fix the problem without a trip to the office.

Questions

Common questions

Can employees use their own computers?

They can, within limits. We can secure access from personal devices to web applications and virtual desktops while keeping company data off the device. For employees who handle sensitive data, a managed company laptop is the safer and usually cheaper answer.

Do we still need a VPN?

Often not. Zero-trust access tools connect users to specific applications after verifying the person and the device, which is safer than placing a remote laptop on the office network. Where legacy systems require it, we run a managed VPN with multi-factor authentication.

How do you support employees outside California?

The same way we support employees in Los Angeles: remote control, phone, and chat around the clock, with hardware shipped from our office. Our clients have employees across the United States.
